Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease. Panchakarma proved to be most beneficial in any autoimmune disease. Intake of specific herbal formulations and application of medicated oil for long time after performing Panchakarma treatments gives tremendous result. In this disease we mainly follow Vamana (Emesis), Virechana (Purging) and Vasthi (medicated enema) treatment. Yes this can be taken along with DMARD drugs. We have treated hundreds of severely affected patients who are already under DMARD drugs and surprisingly we could stop the DMARD drugs in many and could taper the dose in other patients with much better results.

What is the complete course of treatment for Panckakarma treatment as inpatient and post panchakarma treatment as out patient?
21 days’ is very essential to perform Panchakarma treatment. But in mild cases we can perform this treatment in 14 days. After the Panchakarma it is advisable to continue with the specific herbal combinations for the period of 6 to 18 months depending up on the response.
