Why Panckarma is recommended for GB syndrome?
GB syndrome is a disease related with immune system a kind of Auto immunity. In this disease in the 1st phase there will be progressive paralysis where the patient should take treatment from a super specialty hospital with ventilator facility. During the progressive phase some patients may suffer from paralysis of respiratory muscles and if timely treatment with ventilator is not provided patient may die due to respiratory failure. This disease being a self-limiting, in the 2nd phase pt gradually improves, he will regain his movements and most of the movements will be gained. Panchakarma is recommended for those who do not recover completely. We have treated many such GB syndrome patients with Panchakarma treatments mainly Virechana, Nasya and Massage and heating with medicated herbal oils and decoctions.

Yes. We can achieve almost all movements to its full extent. But the result may vary depending up on the extent of damage, and in the cases where myelopathy (spinal cord) is involved recovery may become very slow and in some recovery may be partial.
