Excessive menses where the cause cannot be identified is called as dysfunctional uterine bleeding. In most of the time it occurs in anovulatory cycles where there will no ovulation. It is common in adolescent and premenopausal time. Hormonal and psychological factors also influences on it.

In modern medicine, this condition usually end up in removal of uterus. But in Ayurveda it is possible to successfully handle this condition without surgery.

Herbal formulation which regulates hormonal imbalance are used. Usually the result is seen within 3-4 days of treatment.
