Ukkinadkas Ayurveda Previously known as Sahasraksha Vaidya Shala is a 60 years old Ayurvedic Institute, situated in the countryside of Kerala, India. Ukkinadkas Ayurveda is founded by Late Dr. P Narayana Bhat, Ayurveda Shiromani; now this institute is developed as a most modern Ayurvedic treatment Centre with all modern facilities and a work force lead by veteran guidance and a full-fledged research wing to give support to the ‘vaidyas’ and has 30 beds to accommodations. Ukkinadkas Ayurveda provides traditional, scientific and authentic Ayurvedic treatments specific to the patient’s Ayurvedic constitution. The approach is holistic.

Dr. Jayagovinda Ukkinadka hails from the state of Kerala, in south India. A qualified Ayurvedic Doctor with a degree in Ayurveda Medicines and Surgery (BAMS) from the University of Mangalore. Dr. Jaya Govinda Ukkinadka is practicing Ayurveda since last fourteen years in Ukkinadkas Ayurveda as Chief Physician of the centre.He is the son of late Dr. P. Narayana Bhat, Ayurveda shiromani, founder of Ukkinadkas Ayurveda. Continuing the legacy, since last fourteen years, Dr. Jayagovinda Ukkinadka has developed treatment according to the Ayurveda principles with the modern approach.
He has developed specific treatment methods for Rheumatoid arthritis, Bronchial asthma, ankylosing spondylitis, chronic bronchitis, Psoriasis, stroke due to cerebral haemorrhage, stroke due to ischemia, GERD, hyperacidity, different types of tendonitis, plantar fasceitis, Psoriasis, Intervertebral disc prolapse, Fibromyalgia, Psychological conditions, Epilepsy, Recurrent renal stones, Infertility and many other diseases. He is also developing treatment for cancer, treated many cases of cancer patients with positive results. Dr. Jaya Govinda Ukkinadka has seen improvement in his patients with muscular dystrophy (or pseudomuscular hypertrophy) Duchene type and shoulder gridle type. He is also developing the treatment for MND (Motor neuron disease), Alzheimer’s disease, cirrhosis of the liver, nephropathy etc.
Dr. Jayagovinda Ukkinadka says that Diabetes Type 2 can be cured in many patients by following specific diet, exercise and herbal medicines for 1.5 years. But chances of recurrence will be there anyhow. But by this one can lead normal diabetes free risk free life for few more years till the recurrence. Till now there are patients in whom recurrence was seen in 4 and 5 years and in few even after 5 years there is no recurrence.
He has also developed Panchakarma treatment with his own combinations in many diseases like Rheumatoid arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Cerebro vascular accident, Bronchial Asthma, Psoriasis, Inter vertebral disc prolapse and many other diseases. He is of the view that the treatment techniques, diseases explained in Ayurveda should be re standardized considering the updated knowledge of the modern era. During last 14 years he is working on this and also creating awareness among the community of Ayurveda. Dr. Sapna J Ukkinadka hails from the state of Kerala, in southern peninsula of India. Kerala is much sought after known destination for all Ayurvedic treatment and medicine. A qualified Doctor with a degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from the University of Mangalore, practices Ayurveda since 13 years. Chief Streeroga (Gynecology and Obstetrics in Ayurveda) consultant in Ukkinadkas Ayurveda. She has developed a unique treatment in Ayurveda for many gynecological problems of the modern days. She has successfully treated different types of diseases causing infertility in females, PCOD, dysmenorrhea, epimenorrhoea, menorrhagia, infection of vagina and uterus etc. She has also developed a specific regimen for pregnant woman in every month for the proper growth of the fetus and health of the mother as explained in Ayurvedic texts. She is also interested in herbs, its uses in different disease, manufacturing of Ayurveda medicines.
